Galocha
Design and journalism.
Hey!
I am Artur Galocha (Lugo, 1983), visual journalist, magazines designer, graphics reporter and illustrator.
I used to do visual stories for The Washington Post . Before that, I did graphics for El País, Público, El Mundo, Corriere dello Sport and El Correo Gallego. I was also the art director for the magazines Tentaciones, Cambio16, Retina and Líbero (I also co-funded this one). When I have time I design book covers for Libros del K.O.
This page is in English, but I also speak Galician, Spanish, Portuguese and a bit of Italian. You can find me here.

From 2020 to 2025 I pitched, reported, designed, illustrated, coded and wrote visual stories focusing on Sports, Politics, Foreign, or Style. These include coverage of the wars in Gaza and Ukraine, the 2024 U.S. elections, the Trump administration, the rhythm of Reggaeton or the last four Super Bowls.
